Conservatory Installations in Eastbourne

Welcome to Coastline Windows!

We are an Eastbourne based company offering a variety of high quality home improvement services to clients across East and West Sussex. From aluminium windows to composite doors, front porches to bi-folds - we have it covered. Designing and installing brand new conservatories is one of our specialities and with more than 25 years experience in the industry, we install conservatories to the highest industry standards.

A conservatory adds valuable space to homes, creating a seamless extension with added living space full of natural light. Installing a conservatory on your property is a cost-effective way of creating extra space and this addition has proven to have a positive impact of as much as 15% on the value of your home. Typically, conservatories are exempt from mainstream Building Regulations and planning permission, so they can be installed with minimal hassle for you and your family.

In addition to new conservatory builds, Coastline Windows also offer a conservatory replacement roofing service, conservatory glass replacement service and conservatory repairs.

Conservatory Styles

Coastline Windows install a wide range of conservatory styles with bespoke windows and doors to match. Every style is created using our industry-leading, energy efficient conservatory system, and can be designed to suit your property and individual preferences. Styles include:

Gable Conservatory - An elegant conservatory style with a high roof slope, creating a feeling of immense height.

Georgian Conservatory - The greatest style for optimising space with 90-degree corners - ideal for tables and sofas.

Victorian Conservatory - A versatile and traditional design with an angled 3 bay or 5 bay front and a steep, pitched roof and ornate ridge details.

Lean-to Conservatory - Traditional or contemporary, this conservatory offers an understated design. Great for homes with limited space.

Conservatory Planning Permission

Before you commence any home improvement building work on your property you should always check to see if you need planning permission. Planning permission requires you to contact your local planning authority to request whether you can undertake a piece of building work. Permission is either granted or refused.

Luckily, if you live in England it is highly unlikely that you will need to apply for planning permission to build a conservatory on your property.  This is often classed as a permitted development and subsequently does not require planning permission.

If you are unsure, the team at Coastline Windows can assist with this, and for added peace of mind you can always apply to your local planning authority, for a document known as a Lawful Development Certificate. This confirms that your building work is a permitted development.

For listed buildings, listed building consent is sometime required.
